And so it begins...ha ha ha...I have added some 'goodies' to my Savage. The first thing that I did was change that 'butt beater' seat into something I could stand for more than a hour. I went to a motorcycle salvage yard and bought an old seat. I took it totally apart, took the foam and cut the cover leather to match my Savage seat and put the whole works right over my original seat. Ahhhhhhh...wonderful, like sitting on a couch, and looks really smart too. Next addition was a pair of throw over saddlebags and yesterday I added a small tinted windshield. She is sooooo 'spiffy 'now !?!!
I think I'll pass on changing the pipe and 'engine stuff', after all I'm just a 'girl' (snicker) I rather like the thumpity-thump sound of the bike just the way it is. The speedometer just kicked over to 100 miles during yesterdays ride...does that make me a professional now? Ha ha... ; ) Thanks for all the great input everyone, I am truly having a grand time with my bike.
